Looking for myself on Twitter I found more than I bargained for…

Looking for mentions of myself on Twitter, I found out that I am not alone: my name is being used by people who aren’t me more often than Israeli spies do it. Which neatly brings us to a blog post by another Jeff Stein, espionage writer for The Washington Post.

Commenting on the alleged Israeli assassination of a Hamas commander, Mr. Stein said this about Mossad’s (alleged) sloppiness:

Odd, for a business that’s supposed to stay out of the news. Then again, that’s been the fate of spy services in recent years. A lot of what they do, from espionage and bribery to counterterrorism and hacking into computers, has ended up on the front page.

Well, not the most intelligent analysis. What about all the shit we DON’T hear about them doing?! Would Rummy call those Known Unknowns or Unknown Unknowns?
