Baumbach’s Kicking and Screaming was a sort of Bible for me and my college friends. Mr. Jealousy has a lot in common with the one big breakup in my life. The Squid and the Whale is eerily close to home for me also. Somehow this guy’s work resonates with my own experience in a rare way (my brother’s name is Noah), so I am looking forward to feeling a disturbing kinship with his Greenberg….
