I read this on Chicagoist:
Chicago native Robert Zemeckis, who hasn't made a decent movie since 1992 (and that was Death Becomes Her by the way!), is negotiating the necessary rights to remake the 1968 animated classic Yellow Submarine.
Agreed that this is a HORRIBLE remake idea. But NOT AGREED that DBH was Zemeckis’ last decent movie. I don’t want to live in a world in which Contact and Cast Away are less than a game of Bruce Willis-tug-of-war between Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep!
And I thought Beowulf was pretty cool, actually.
The Worst Movie Remake Idea. Ever. Period. (via Chicagoist)
